Serial-specific Roche history: Roche Technical Support verbally confirmed that S/N 35726 was shipped/installed at Pfizer in December 2021. Roche reviewed the serial-specific history and reported no major issues.
Software and ownership transfer: Roche advised that Version 3.0 is the current/latest software for this instrument. Roche further advised that the current software typically transfers with the instrument.
Second-hand OEM support pathway: Roche advised that the instrument can be transferred into a new owner's account and that Roche has an established second-hand instrument process. A flat-fee engineer inspection/evaluation is available, after which normal service and service-contract options can be determined.
Analyzer capability: Roche describes the Cedex Bio as a compact automated bioprocess analyzer for substrates and metabolites, with published throughput of 50-100 tests per hour, capacity for up to 8 samples with continuous loading, and a test menu covering more than 30 essential analytes.
